Common Space Studios is a modern, design-led studio and event space located in Grey Lynn, offering a clean, versatile canvas for creative events, brand launches and intimate functions. Purpose-built with production in mind, the space features a large open-plan layout with a striking white cyclorama, allowing for complete flexibility in styling and setup.

Designed to adapt to each event, the Common Space Studios is ideal for everything from workshops and private events through to product launches and content-driven experiences. With high ceilings, drive-in access via a loading bay and the ability to bring in custom furniture, styling and production elements, Common Space Studios delivers a truly customisable environment.

Additional amenities include a fully equipped kitchen, hair and makeup stations, changing areas and on-site parking, making it a practical choice for both events and production-led bookings.

The largest and most production-ready space, Studio 1 features a full wrap-around white cyclorama (10m x 13m) with high ceilings and drive-in access via a loading bay—ideal for large-scale shoots, brand activations and high-impact events. Includes kitchen access, meeting area, hair & makeup room and full production capabilities.

Studio 2 is a bright, flexible studio designed around natural daylight, with adjustable sheer and blackout curtains to control lighting. At 88m² with high apex ceilings, it’s ideal for content creation, workshops and smaller events. Includes hair & makeup station, shared kitchenette and meeting room access.

Versatile and more intimate, Studio 3 features a full kitchen and outdoor balcony—perfect for food shoots, workshops and catered events. With natural light, blackout options and flexible layout, it suits both creative production and small-scale gatherings.

Half day pricing ranges from $260-$750 + cleanup, depending on the studio and event needs. Get in touch for POA for your event. **Please note, this venue is NOT suitable for birthdays or weddings**
