Event Cinemas Westfield Newmarket

Sitting in the heart of one of Auckland’s busiest shopping and dining precincts, Event Cinemas Westfield Newmarket offers a fresh alternative to the traditional event venue. With seven cinemas, premium screening experiences and spaces designed for everything from presentations to private celebrations, this is a venue that knows how to put on a show.

Located on Level 4 of Westfield Newmarket, the cinema complex combines impressive technology with comfortable seating, large-format screens and state-of-the-art sound. Whether you're hosting a company presentation, conference session, product launch, team event or private screening, the cinema setting gives you an instant focal point — and a seriously good screen to work with.

For larger groups, V-MAX delivers the full big-screen experience, pairing oversized screens and immersive sound with comfortable seating. It's a natural fit for presentations, company-wide events, film screenings and occasions where you want every guest focused on what's happening up front.

For something a little more intimate, EVENT Boutique brings a completely different feel. The Library and The Gallery are two beautifully designed boutique auditoriums featuring statement interiors, generous personal space and luxurious designer seating. Both are modular spaces available for private hire, making them particularly well suited to VIP events, brand launches, team experiences and private screenings.

Food and beverage can become part of the experience too, with EVENT offering bespoke catering options alongside its Boutique food and drinks menu — ideal for turning a presentation or screening into a more complete event.

The location is another major drawcard. Westfield Newmarket puts guests within easy reach of public transport, with Newmarket Train Station just a short walk away, while onsite parking makes arriving by car simple. The surrounding rooftop dining precinct also gives event organisers plenty of options for pre-event drinks, dinner or continuing the celebration afterwards.

From polished corporate presentations to creative brand launches and private cinema experiences, Event Cinemas Westfield Newmarket is an Auckland event venue that brings entertainment, technology and a little theatre to the occasion.
