The hotel’s rooftop meeting and event spaces are filled with natural light and can be divided into four individual rooms—Jazz, Rock, Soul and Funk—or combined to accommodate larger events. From intimate board meetings and workshops to conferences, cocktail functions and celebrations, the flexible spaces can host up to 220 guests theatre-style or 150 guests for a reception.

Each room is equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi, display screens and straightforward presentation connectivity, with additional AV equipment, microphones, staging, dance floors and video-conferencing facilities available on request. Breakout spaces, creative activities and games can also be arranged, while the experienced events team can tailor the room layout, technology and styling to suit your event.

A selection of ready-made meeting packages makes planning easy, with options covering tea and coffee, morning and afternoon tea, working lunches and continuous refreshments. Bespoke catering and upgraded packages are also available, including room theming, entertainment, rooftop experiences and VIP amenities. Complimentary venue hire is available for qualifying events of 30 guests or more.

For events extending beyond the meeting room, guests can enjoy relaxed dining and drinks at 33 South Restaurant & Bar or head upstairs to AKA Rooftop for panoramic views across Auckland’s city and harbour.

My husband and I had a staycation for our 1st wedding anniversary. This hotel, set in the heart of the city, is amazing; from it's beautiful ambience inside, to the rooms, staff and food, highly recommend. We tried out the new Aka roof-top bar which is gorgeous - reservations essential.
