Dear Abigail and Settlers team,I recently had the honour of graduating with my PhD, and I couldn’t have asked for a better venue to mark such a significant milestone. From the moment we arrived, everything about the space felt special — elegant, well-organised, and perfectly suited for a formal yet celebratory occasion. The atmosphere truly elevated the entire experience for me, and my family.What really stood out, though, was the food. Absolutely top tier — a perfect blend of flavour, presentation, and quality. Every dish served was thoughtful and delicious, catering to a range of tastes while maintaining a standard of excellence you rarely find at large-scale events. The service was equally impressive, with attentive staff who made everyone feel welcomed and well looked after. Great feedback from my family too!Overall, the venue and catering exceeded all expectations. It was a memorable and meaningful celebration, and I’m grateful to have celebrated such a major achievement in such a beautiful setting.

Me and my husband got married at the Settlers in early May 2025.I fell in love with the venue- it was love at first sight! hahaAbigail was very supportive and always responded via email very fast.The food was AMAZING, the atmosphere of the venue is fantastic and makes you not want to leave!The whole wedding was like a dream and I would definitely highly recommend this venue for anyone who would like to experience a 'princess in a castle' type of wedding, it was just superb!

We celebrated our wedding on March 8, 2025, at Settlers Country Manor, and it was an unforgettable experience. After visiting several venues, we instantly fell in love with Settlers Country Manor. The venue is stunning, with its unique character and beautiful gardens that are perfect for wedding photos. Abigail gave us a tour, and we immediately decided it was the perfect place for our special day.The venue offers multiple outdoor spots for the ceremony, as well as indoor options in case of bad weather. The Luxe Bridal Room upstairs, which we hired as well, is spacious and beautiful, providing a perfect setting for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready and take those first "getting ready" photos. We also hired the honeymoon suite, which was a great decision as it allowed us to relax and enjoy the day without worrying about driving afterward.Abigail was incredibly supportive throughout the planning process, always responding promptly to my numerous emails. On the day of the wedding, the friendly Settlers Manor team greeted us and helped with all our bags and boxes. The venue opens at 10:30 am, and our ceremony was at 3:30 pm, giving us plenty of time to get ready in the Luxe Bridal Room. Any requests we had were promptly attended to, which greatly reduced the stress of the day.The venue offers both set menu and buffet options. With around 100 guests, we chose the buffet, and it was a fantastic choice. The food was amazing, and there was plenty for everyone. Abigail even arranged a special meal for our 2-year-old daughter and ensured her food was heated and served at our table. Later in the evening, they even provided a bottle of milk for her, which was a thoughtful touch that I greatly appreciated.We had the venue until 11 pm, but when some guests stayed longer, the Settlers Manor team graciously allowed us to continue enjoying our time by the fountain until midnight. This extra hour was invaluable, as it was the only time I could relax and chat with our guests after a busy day.After the wedding, we received countless compliments from our guests about the beautiful venue, delicious food, and friendly staff. It was an amazing experience, and we are so glad we chose Settlers Country Manor for our special day.Thank you, Abigail and the team, for making our wedding day truly memorable for us and our guests.

Me and my Husband celebrated our wedding at Setters last Saturday. It was by far the most perfect day, we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful venue and wonderful team at Settlers. Abigail is amazing she was so kind and caring through the whole experience. From the first meeting until the day she was always prompt in her helpful replies and of making our vision come to life. The ceremony area is stunning, we chose the below garden ceremony area and it was perfect on the summery day with nice shelter from the trees. Cocktail hour was so much fun in the upper lawn and we were looked after with canapés and drinks getting brought to us by the team. Though the schedule went right out the window the team rolled with everything and it turned out to be the most amazing day. All our guests are still raving about the wonderful place and food!

We chose Settlers Country Manor as our venue and it was one of the best decisions we made through the wedding planning process. We told ourselves that not everything might be perfect, and lets not expect everything. However Abi and the team made sure we were well looked after! EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT. Every little detail that we had requested for the day was taken care of. Abi went over and above on the day with the service that was provided. She made sure that the bridal party were constantly fed and refreshed.The venue was perfect and breathtaking on the day. From the bridal suite to the ceremony area to the reception at night was simply break-taking. Better than what we had hoped or imagined.Of course a big part of the day is the food and Settlers Country Manor put on a spectacular show of the best and most tasty food. Everything was served in large portions and there was plenty of variety. Our guest had amazing feedback on the quality of the food.Thank you Abi and the team for an unforgettable day! Settlers was the perfect venue for us for our wedding. Abigail was so helpful right from the start with great communication. I loved that the bridesmaids and I were able to get ready at the venue in a beautiful room as well. The building itself and the grounds are beautiful and provided the perfect backdrop for our day and photos. There are also lots of options for where to have your ceremony and photos, including covered options for bad weather. Additionally the food was incredible, the guests raved about it. Our day went so smoothly thanks to Abigail and her team and I can't recommend them highly enough.

The historic charm of the site, with its fairy tale-like atmosphere and rustic touches, made it a dream location for capturing unforgettable moments.The staff went above and beyond to ensure my couple was well taken care of, and their communication with me and my team was seamless throughout the day.What I loved most was the variety of beautiful spots for photos, both during the day and night. This is the most underrated wedding venue in Auckland! We had our wedding there recently and we were blown away by everything. The absolutely mouthwatering food, the decorations, the attentive and helpful staff. They went out of their way to make our day special. The bridal prep room and honeymoon suite is 5 star and spotless. Special mention to Abigail and Lucas who made our dream day come true!If you're looking for a wedding venue, don't look further. Their included decor is breathtaking and the all inclusive menu caters for all sorts. The oysters were super fresh and the variety something to behold.They have a very unique venue with cozy fireplaces and a warm feel to it, with lots of detail everywhere.They truly gave us a worry free wedding! From the planning, setting up, ceremony, and reception, Abigail and her team were along for the ride every step of the way and there is no way we would have been able to pull off such a perfect event anywhere else. They even went to the effort to create a full vegan menu for us which the guests could not stop raving about!

Amazing experience across the whole life cycle of venue viewing, months of planning, then a smooth and seamless wedding night. Abigail was super accommodating with our requests, communication was great, and her level of organisation/professionalism was world-class. The venue is stunning and we loved the new bridal prep room.
