Tote on Ascot is a venue with both history and wow-factor, set at the heart of Ellerslie Racecourse. Once home to the world’s first totalisator machine and, more recently, the raceday stables, this landmark 1885 building has recently been transformed into one of Auckland’s most distinctive event spaces.

Spanning 470m², the room offers complete flexibility - up to 220 for a banquet, 400 theatre-style or 450 for cocktails - making it ideal for conferences, dinners, weddings, exhibitions and private celebrations.

Guests are greeted by original brick walls, a soaring hipped ceiling reconstructed from kauri beams, and a dramatic skylight that floods the space with natural light. The granite and leather bar adds a stylish focal point for networking and evening drinks, while oversize glazing at the far end of the room enhances the sense of space and light.
