Set amidst more than 30,000 olive trees in Auckland’s Bombay Hills, Bracu Estate is a Mediterranean-inspired destination venue designed for weddings, corporate events, private celebrations, team-building experiences, and media productions. Just 40 minutes from Auckland Central, the estate offers a sense of escape while remaining highly accessible for guests travelling from Auckland or Waikato.

    The Pavilion

    Purpose-built. Fully enclosed. Highly versatile.

    The Pavilion is Bracu Estate’s largest and most adaptable event space, designed to host everything from gala dinners and awards evenings to conferences, weddings, and cocktail receptions. Nestled within the olive grove and adjacent to a tranquil pond, it offers a secluded setting with a strong sense of arrival.

    The space accommodates up to 160 guests seated or 190 guests cocktail-style, with flexible layouts that suit corporate presentations, long lunches, or formal receptions. A spacious entry courtyard allows for pre-event drinks and mingling, while the interior features high vaulted ceilings, dimmable lighting, and built-in AV infrastructure.

    From a planning perspective, the Pavilion is well-equipped, with an in-house bar, surround sound, microphones, and a large wall-mounted screen. Power capacity and access are also suitable for larger-scale productions and staging.


    The Velarium

    Modern, open-air, and designed to connect guests with the landscape.

    The Velarium is Bracu’s newest event space — a contemporary, open structure that sits elevated within the estate, overlooking the olive groves. Spacious and intentionally minimalist, it offers a refined alternative to traditional enclosed venues.

    This space is well-suited to mid-scale cocktail events, wedding ceremonies, and private gatherings, accommodating up to 60 guests seated or around 80 guests for standing events, depending on configuration. The Velarium’s open-air design allows events to feel immersed in nature while still benefiting from a weather-proof structure. The Velarium is particularly popular for events that prioritise atmosphere, natural light, and a sense of occasion.


    The Marquee

    A ceremony and event space designed for year-round use.

    The Marquee is a covered, weather-protected structure that balances flexibility with reliability. Framed by sweeping views of the olive grove and surrounding estate, it offers a strong visual backdrop while ensuring events can proceed comfortably in all seasons.

    With capacity for up to 100 seated guests or 130 standing, the Marquee is commonly used for ceremonies, receptions, and mid-sized gatherings. Transparent walls can be opened or closed depending on conditions, allowing planners to adapt the space without compromising the experience.

    Located beside a stream and landscaped gardens, the Marquee offers excellent flow between indoor and outdoor moments, particularly for weddings and cocktail-style events.


    Outdoor Spaces

    Multiple locations, each with its own character.

    One of Bracu Estate’s defining strengths is the variety of outdoor settings available across the property. These spaces can be used for ceremonies, arrivals, cocktail hours, or photography, giving planners flexibility in how an event unfolds.


    Olive Grove

    A flat, grassy area beneath mature olive trees, suitable for both intimate and large ceremonies. Highly flexible for styling and floral installations.


    Olive Garden

    Located beside Bracu Restaurant, framed by Mediterranean landscaping and mature trees. Ideal for smaller to mid-sized ceremonies with easy access to dining spaces.

    Fountain Pond Deck

    A serene deck beside a water feature, accommodating up to 20 seated guests, often chosen for intimate ceremonies or elopements.

    Each outdoor space can be paired with an indoor venue as a wet-weather alternative, giving planners confidence when scheduling.


    Bracu Restaurant

    Refined dining in a beautiful estate setting.

    Restaurant

    Bracu Restaurant is housed within a beautifully restored kauri villa and is an acclaimed destination for dining, celebrations, and private events. Known for its warm hospitality and contemporary Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, the restaurant offers a more intimate setting for smaller-scale events.

    The space can be tailored for private dining and exclusive use for up to 80 guests, making it well suited to corporate lunches, milestone celebrations, and smaller wedding receptions. Indoor dining areas are complemented by outdoor spaces, including the all-weather verandah.

    The restaurant operates Thursday to Sunday for lunch and Thursday to Saturday for dinner, with group dining and private event options available by arrangement.


    Villa Verandah

    All-weather dining with garden views.


    Located at Bracu Restaurant, the Villa Verandah is an elegant, covered outdoor dining space designed for comfort year-round. Seating up to 50 guests, it features wall-mounted heaters and transparent windbreak curtains, allowing events to proceed comfortably year-round.

    This space is particularly well-suited to intimate receptions, refined private dinners, and smaller celebrations, offering privacy without requiring a full restaurant buyout.


    Wine Library

    Private, polished, and designed for small groups.

    The Wine Library is Bracu’s most intimate indoor space — a secluded private dining room that seats 10–12 guests. Designed for those who appreciate fine dining and wine, it’s an ideal setting for executive meetings, board dinners, or special celebrations requiring discretion and atmosphere.


    Beretta Activity Grounds

    Team building with a difference.

    Bracu Estate is also home to the Beretta Activity Grounds, offering a distinctive team-building and experiential component for corporate events. Set within a dedicated outdoor area, these activities can accommodate groups from 4 to 104 guests.

    Experiences include clay target shooting, knife throwing, frisbee golf, and air rifle target shooting, and are often paired with dining or Pavilion events to create a full-day or half-day programme.


    Catering & Beverage

    In-house, seasonal, and estate-led.


    All events at Bracu Estate are catered in-house by the Bracu culinary team. Menus are Mediterranean-inspired and seasonal, showcasing estate-grown produce alongside locally sourced ingredients.

    Event formats range from canapés and shared dining to set menus and bespoke options, with the ability to cater for dietary requirements. Beverage service includes full bar facilities, Bracu wines, and tailored package or tab options depending on the event style.


    Onsite Accommodation

    Extend the experience beyond the event.

    Bracu Estate offers onsite boutique accommodation across three separate houses, all within walking distance of the event spaces:

    Estate House – 5 bedrooms
    Harvest House – 4 bedrooms
    Olive House – 3 bedrooms

    These accommodation options are ideal for wedding parties, executive retreats, or hosts looking to extend their event into a multi-day experience.


    Yes - one of Bracu Estate’s key strengths is the ability to transition between spaces throughout your event. Many weddings, for example, host their ceremony in the Olive Grove or Velarium, cocktail hour outdoors, and the reception in the Pavilion. Corporate groups often combine Pavilion events with Beretta team-building activities and restaurant dining to create a full-day or multi-day programme.

    All catering is delivered in-house by the Bracu culinary team. Menus are Mediterranean-inspired and seasonal, with options ranging from canapés and shared feasts to formal plated dining. Dietary requirements can be accommodated, and beverage packages or tab options can be tailored to suit the event style.

    Beretta Activities include clay target shooting, air rifle shooting, knife throwing, and frisbee golf — all set within Bracu’s 257-acre estate. Experiences are professionally guided and suitable for all skill levels, with no prior experience required.

    Beretta caters for groups from 4 to 144 guests, making it ideal for everything from executive team outings to large-scale corporate events. All packages require a minimum of four guests, with a direct request required for groups of three or fewer.
