Waiau River Estate rests on the banks of the Waiau River. This venue is home to Hells Gate Wines and High Country Honey and has been producing award-winning wines since 2008. Although they’re over an hour outside of the centre of Christchurch, they are a venue well worth the trip. A full-service venue on the outskirts of Christchurch, Larcomb Vineyard is an experienced and professional events venue that can do it all. Their space boasts expertly manicured gardens and a spacious barn with high ceilings and exposed beams. There are 2 venues available for hire at Larcomb Vineyard: the Small Barn, hosting up to 80 guests, filled with natural light and featuring an exposed timber ceiling; and the Big Barn, built in 2011 and with space for 200 guests, equipped with a grand dance floor to boot. The venue features a whitewashed Mediterranean-style historic building (carefully restored over the years to maintain its ambience and traditional feel), a sheltered lawn, bubbling fountain, conservatory, Victorian-style gazebo and a pond. Trent’s Estate Vineyard is a fully-licensed and fully-catered venue, but do have BYO options for flexibility. Langdale Vineyard Restaurant

A country restaurant, Langdale Vineyard Restaurant is barely 15 minutes from Christchurch and brings with it an earthy, fresh appeal. With French doors that allow for natural light to flood the space, and the Winery Hall adjacent to the restaurant, this Christchurch venue is a flexible option for any event.
