Located just 15 minutes from central Christchurch, the Museum is surrounded by the historic Wigram Air Force Base. We are proud to exclusively manage events in the the Thérèse Angelo Wing and Aircraft Hall, on behalf of the Air Force Museum of New Zealand. Both spaces offer scale, versatility and an undeniable sense of atmosphere!

The Thérèse Angelo Wing is luxuriously spacious and the perfect option for trade exhibitions, conferences, community events, large gala dinners, and more. Flexible and expansive, this contemporary space can be easily configured to meet your event's unique requirements, with a total floor area of 1440m2.

A brilliant mix of history, storytelling, and hands-on experience. The aircraft displays are impressive, and the interactive exhibits make it great for all ages. Whether you’re into aviation or just curious, this place is well worth the visit — and it’s free! Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and a real hidden gem in Christchurch.

This museum is absolutely beautiful and filled with treasures from years gone by. The volunteers that do the tours and the ladies who work at the reception desk all make the experience an enjoyable one. I highly recommend visiting here and also take the one hour private tour

Highly recommended for everyone in the family.A beautiful free (donations are welcome) museum, filled with far more aircrafts than we initially expected.Lots to read and discover, displays were well put together and the pacing through the exhibits is perfect. If you need a break, there is a simple cafe, a lovely little gift shop and peaceful grounds.Wish we had more time to explore this past visit. We will have to set aside more time the next visit!
