Located in the heart of the Waikato, Gails of Tamahere is one of the region's best wedding and event venues. Surrounded by landscaped grounds, this Hamilton venue provides beautiful gardens, a historic church, a licensed restaurant and bar facilities.

A key feature of this venue is the historic chapel. Originally built in Thames in the 1860s, this kauri chapel was shifted to Gails of Tamahere in the 1990s. Board by board, the chapel was beautifully rebuilt and restored with its original leadlight windows from Scotland.

The Restaurant is a radiant function space overlooking the gardens. With the ability to seat up to 200 guests, the Restaurant is fully licensed and can provide delicious catering for Christmas functions, funeral functions, birthdays, weddings and beyond.

The Workshop is a rustic space used for dried floral workshops, facilitated by Gail - an award-winning florist and the owner of Gails of Tamahere.

In-house music is available, while live bands and DJs can be arranged upon request.

Just 20 minutes from Hamilton and 10 minutes from Hamilton Airport, Gails of Tamahere is a charming venue for weddings, birthdays, Christmas functions, funeral services and beyond.
