Good George Dining Hall + Brewery

The original Good George bar and home of the Good George Brewery. Established in an old 1960's church on Somerset Street Hamilton you can grab a seat inside or underneath our brew tanks in our garden bar and watch as our team of award winning brewers craft the Good Beer and Good Cider right here on site. We host weekly/monthly brewery tours and show you the ins and outs of how we brew the Good Beer.

BEER GARDEN: The Beer Garden is situated in the midst of our stainless steel tanks as the back drop, with a view to the inner workings of the brewery. This is unique option for any event. The beer garden is a fully enclosed space that can work with open roof or closed to keep the rain out. Plenty of heating if needed and plenty of cold beer and cider to cool down. There is a combination of high tables and banquet tables for dining. We’ve got your covered. Options available for partial Beer Garden Hire let’s talk. FULL VENUE: In the heart of the old St. George church sits our dining hall, seated under the old vaulted ceilings. Beer tanks stand in pride of place and make your venue choice unique and memorable. Full size windows let in plenty of natural light with arched lead light windows finishing the ambience. The large open plan bar is fully stocked, with access to a microphone, large screen, and plenty of room for a dance floor and band. Roll up the doors and outside flows seamlessly inside. Parking is free and plenty is available on the street as well as our carpark. FRONT ROW SEATS: This piece of property is ideal for that group looking to enjoy some social grazing and craft beer. Enjoy a casual atmosphere with one side of the bar dedicated to you and your guests. You are so close to the brewery you can literally reach out and almost touch the tanks. High Tables lining the brewery for an elevated view of the brewery, perfect for the brewing enthusiasts on a night out. Brewery Tours can be added. No cost to hire this space.
