Hi David, I wanted to pass on my thanks and that of our BDT Directors, for all of your efforts on Friday to make our Christmas party a success. The event exceeded our expectations and the feedback we have been receiving has been really positive. The Venue looked amazing, the staff we very friendly, competent and accommodating and the food was fantastic. Please pass our thanks on to all involved. I’ve actually been dreaming about certain food items ever since so will need to pop in soon for something. I just wish we worked closer as I suspect you would have a fair few visits from BDT! Thanks so much for bringing this event to life and we are sure to be back! I am so so happy we were able to make this happen!

Had such a great birthday at Amador! It was super easy to organise, communication was great and there was such great flexibility around catering, including coeliac friendly and vegetarian options! Its an excellent space with a great atmosphere and some lovely outdoor/balcony spaces. Kā mihi nui to Josh and the team for such a great night!

My 21st birthday party was held at Amador and it was such a special evening. The staff were so kind and helpful and everything was so easy to organise thanks to the efficient functions manager. I was blown away with how beautiful the set up was and I received many compliments about the venue. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a venue under time and money constraints!

Central city cafe/bar that filled very quickly after opening. Shows how popular this venue is. The breakfast was filling, tasty and delivered efficiently. I was plesantly surprised with this little gem of a place. Will definitely be returning...and also trying the bar after work. A great music playlist while I was enjoying my brekky as well!

Amador bar is well located in the CBD of Wellington city, but it is also quite discrete and therefore is an ideal spot for a gathering of friends. I found the internal design and layout very appealing. The food that was provided (I was there for a private function) was excellent. The staff were pleasant, professional and helpful. It's a good venue and I would definitely recommend this to others.

Our group of foodies went to Amador today to enjoy the sunshine, while the sun was still shining!A few of us were attracted to the Salted caramel espresso martini so we all ordered that, the cosmopolitan was also very nice (I had a sip!) and the mocktail was also so pretty!We also got lots of nice food from their snacks menu provided by Bite Club (definitely enough for a meal!) and particular mention of their fried chicken pieces and their Reuben loaded fries, also really liked the pulled pork tacos and some of us had the hotdogs which was a little bit spicy but went so well with the beer! Quite liked the cheeseballs too, perfect with a group while chatting away.Loved the ambience of the place, they said they're currently open on a Sunday during the daytime while the weather's still nice, and they also have happy hour from 4pm-6pm every weekday, with live music on Thursdays!Being part of the press hall on Willis Street in CBD, go enjoy a drink under the sunshine or after work as a group, really pretty space that's also ideal for a 21st or any celebrations! One of us is already planning a work do here as the venue hire is free and they have all the AV equipment already!
