Our wedding at Brackenridge was a breeze. We truly got to sit back and enjoy the weekend. From when we booked the venue to the wedding day we felt supported by Courtnay and the team at Brackenridge; they helped with check lists during the planning stage and set up for the day. We didn’t spend the whole day prior setting up, we could actually relax and spend time with friends and family. We stayed on site, which I highly recommend - very comfortable and we didn’t need to hire transport for the wedding! Nothing was too difficult for the team. You could tell they’ve done more than a few weddings before!The caterers, Trestle & Mortar were superb! So delicious and plenty of food. We got so many compliments about the food and service on the day - many saying it was the best wedding they have attended! Thank you!

Always a great break away at Brackenridge. The team do a great job of making it a pleasant peaceful environment. With the fire roaring and the heat pump working the little cottages keep out the wintery weather. Stepping out into the frosty well kept grounds you get to enjoy the fresh and clear countryside.

The beautiful Brackenridge Country Retreat was the perfect venue for our wedding on 15 March 2025. We would not have wanted to get married anywhere else.When we were researching wedding venues, we struggled to find a wedding venue that provided a sheltered option in case it rains, has plenty of toilets for our guests, has a big dance floor, and allows BYO. That struggle was until we went on a tour to Brackenridge and booked with them.Brackenridge provides all the things we were looking for in the above and more. This venue provides plenty of space, gorgeous views for your ceremony and cocktail hour outside, a stunning reception area that can seat your guests comfortably, luxury accommodation for your family/wedding parties/guests etc, delicious food with their catering partner Trestle & Mortar, and a wonderful and kind wedding coordinator to make you feel more relaxed and prepared, Courtnay.My husband and I, our wedding parties and families, had an amazing time on our wedding day and could not fault anything. This was the perfect wedding venue.Thank you Courtnay, the rest of the staff at Brackenridge, and Trestle & Mortar. You made our special day more special.

Brackenridge is an amazing venue: it’s beautiful and picturesque as well as extremely practical with backup options for bad weather, cottages onsite and the lovely and super efficient wedding planner extraordinaire, Courtnay. We planned our wedding from Sydney but Courtnay and team made the whole experience so easy. We had wanted to be able to turn up in-country and not have to do any preparations, which was a breeze with Brackenridge. Courtnay dealt with everything so expertly, including a last minute seating plan reshuffle - nothing was too much trouble! Having the accommodation onsite was important to us and as the cottages range in size it meant family groups could have an opportunity to stay and spend time together which made it an all round great experience for our guests.We also chose to have the brunch onsite the next day which meant another opportunity for us to spend time with our guests as the wedding day does speed by!Trestle & Mortar did an amazing job catering the reception and the brunch: we had so many compliments on how good the food was.Our aim from the outset was to have a relaxed family wedding which Brackenridge enabled us to do.A million thanks to Courtnay and team at Brackenridge and the team at Trestle & Mortar. You made our day the wonderful experience we were hoping for.
