Located in the historic Shed 11, the New Zealand Portrait Gallery is a beautifully spacious venue in the heart of Wellington. The curated exhibitions showcase artwork from all around Aotearoa and are a beautiful backdrop for any event.

NZPG offers an elegant heritage setting in the heart of the city. It can accommodate 10-300 guests and is ultra-flexible, able to be divided into smaller areas or large, expansive spaces. This uncluttered space is suitable for wedding receptions, corporate hospitality, product launches, fashion shows, receptions, private banquets, and lectures. Shed 11 also provides excellent acoustics for musical performances and has hosted many large-scale events, including TED Talks, birthday celebrations, product launches and concerts. With an option to self-cater or onboard catering services, a BOSE sound system, data projection equipment and folding chairs, NZPG provides support and flexibility for your event.
