Te Kawau Room

Our largest and most adaptable space, Te Kawau Room spans 360sqm and is bathed in natural light. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors open onto a private balcony overlooking the harbour, creating a striking arrival and effortless indoor-outdoor flow.

Hosting up to 350 guests depending on configuration, the room features in-house AV, large-format projection and two built-in bars — making it an exceptional setting for conferences, gala dinners, awards evenings, large-scale celebrations and high-impact corporate events.

Rangitoto Room

Named for its uninterrupted views of Rangitoto Island, Rangitoto Room is a versatile, well-appointed space ideal for medium-sized meetings, workshops and private events. It operates seamlessly as a standalone venue or as a breakout space alongside Te Kawau Room.

With built-in AV, moveable LED screens and a private kitchenette, Rangitoto is designed for flexibility, comfort and smooth event delivery.

RAYC Members Lounge

The Royal Akarana Yacht Club Members Lounge offers a refined nautical aesthetic, a built-in bar and sweeping ocean views. A trans-space wall allows the Lounge to combine with Rangitoto Room, creating a dynamic venue for up to 180 guests — ideal for cocktail events, networking functions and stylish celebrations.

Joyce Fisher Room

Located on the ground floor, the Joyce Fisher Room is a light-filled space with floor-to-ceiling sliding doors opening directly onto the terrace and seaside lawn. It provides a relaxed yet elevated setting for team days, long lunches, ceremonies and waterfront gatherings.

In addition, Akarana offers four boardrooms and meeting rooms equipped with modern AV and conferencing technology — perfectly suited for strategy sessions, leadership offsites and training days.
