With the hosts focus being on working with you to create a successful event, they will do their best to ensure vision of your special day comes alive. Flexibility abound, you get to choose your own commercial full service wedding caterers and bring your own alcohol. Full disabled access, great for those older folks, parking for 60 plus cars and a bus turning area, breakout room set up for the younger ones, pet friendly, plus accommodation for up to 18 people, this venue has everything you need to ensure your day is stress free and fun for you and your guests.

Anam Cara was an absolutely stunning venue for our wedding. Tim & Teresa were a dream to deal with during our planning stages and Mel our co-ordinator on the day was amazing, anything we needed just got done before we even thought of it. Our guests commented on how beautiful the grounds were and the area we held our ceremony -The Rimu Grove was gorgeous surrounding our intimate ceremony with greenery. Can't recommend this venue enough, thanks for making our wedding a day to remember forever.

What Tim and Teresa have going is absolutely phenomenal. We are SO happy and grateful to have had our wedding at Anam Cara. We discovered Anam Cara purely by coincidence, seeing a post from our photographer, and it was absolutely meant to be. Right from the first meeting Tim was nothing but helpful, with great communication, input and understanding. Absolutely everyone was wowed by the venue and our families and bridal party loved the accommodation. My husband, family and I thought the package for 50 hours exclusive hire was perfect, the multiple options for ceremony location for all weather was great and the function centre was perfect for our size party Tim and Teresa - we just thank you so much. We had a beautiful late Autumn wedding. Tim went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. The Gardens were stunning at this time of year (late May). The venue for the reception was perfect for a large group (close to 100). Our day was perfect. It was also fantastic having use of the large house and grooms quarters for the wedding party and family. We were also able to use the venue for a Whanau brunch the next day, before heading off on our honeymoon. A perfect place for your special day. Demi Richards

Accommodation

There are three accommodation options at Anam Cara Gardens: the Villa, the Annexed Apartment and the Groom’s Quarters. We can sleep up to 19 guests on site, and each of our modern and well-equipped spaces is continually being improved to offer the best possible experience to our guests, no matter the occasion.
