What a venue! What a team! Searching for a venue in Wellington for a corporate event, I came across Whiskey & Wood. A quick phone call to Sarah to check the date we needed was available - and I very quickly noted that she was the kind of person and contact we needed to make this event a success. The date was booked, May 2024. 90 key clients attending a milestone celebration. Every question was answered timely and positively giving me options and solutions. Every request (and I had a few ..), all resolved and/or added to our booking with zero stress or issues. Things like photographer recommendations, florist, music, lectern, sound system, signature cocktails ... the list goes on! The evening was a huge success, with both staff and key clients who attended raving about the evening, venue, food and all the smaller things that cumulated to make the entire evening fun, professional - a night to remember. Having Sarah on hand during the evening was super helpful for any issues or questions that came up - she's super approachable and quick to come up with solutions or a resolve. Can't recommend the team and the venue at Whiskey & Wood enough. There is so much more behind the unassuming street door frontage - go take a look or give them a call!

This place is absolutely magical for an event. Would 100% recommend. We hosted a Whittakers chocolate event there and Sarah went out of her way to be accommodating. The venue itself is beautifully styled so it's a dreamy backdrop. Thanks team.

The most beautiful venue in town! Sarah and the team at Whisky and Wood were amazing in helping us organise my husband's 40th birthday. We had our wedding at Whisky & Wood and it was amazing! The staff were so friendly, attentive and professional, they made sure everything ran smoothly and no one even noticed the re-set between the ceremony and reception, they were so stealth! The venue itself is beautiful and the bar was fully stocked with a great selection. Sarah, Lloyd and the team really went above and beyond, their hard work and passion for what they do did not go unnoticed.. we just can’t thank them enough!

W&W is the kind of venue that positively makes people want to talk to each other. Every feature- the high ceilings, well placed lights, layout and design really enhances social experiences. I've had so many positive comments about the venue that its kind of a no brainer to use it again. Also Sarah who owns and runs it is a delight to work with. If you are want a top night out this is the place to use.
